How does it work?
Your GeoTag by Emporium Security sends out a secure Bluetooth® signal that nearby Apple devices in the Find My network can detect. These devices relay the location of your GeoTag to iCloud, allowing you to view it on a map in the Find My app. The process is fully anonymous and encrypted to ensure your privacy. Plus, it’s designed to be energy-efficient, so you don’t have to worry about battery life or excessive data usage.
Lost Mode: Finds your things for you.
Just like your other Apple devices, GeoTag can be put into Lost Mode. When it’s detected by any device in the Find My network, you’ll automatically get a notification. Plus, you can set it up so if someone finds your GeoTag, they can tap it with an NFC-capable smartphone to see your contact info—just like the tech people use to pay with their phones.

With GeoTag, only you can see where your GeoTag is. Your location data and history are never stored on the device itself. Any Apple devices in the Find My network that help locate your GeoTag remain completely anonymous, and all location data is encrypted every step of the way.
